How does it sense snoring?
ZEEQ includes an incredibly sensitive microphone that can detect sound down to a specific decibel level. Using this ZEEQ will subtly vibrate when it detect snoring beyond the level you have set in the ZEEQ app. Last updated: Tue, Jul 12 2016 11:12 am EDT
How does the music work?
Using the free ZEEQ app you can select what you want to fall asleep to. Choose from your local music (iTunes, etc.), Spotify Premium or some free ZEEQ Sleep Soundscapes. ZEEQ’s app will let you set a sleep timer for the music. Many other audio sources and music streaming apps don’t have an open API for direct integration so we can’t integrate them natively into the ZEEQ app. We are, however, working on some solutions that will hopefully allow you to listen to any audio source and use ZEEQ at the same time. Will the music disturb my sleep partner?

What kind of data does ZEEQ collect?
While you sleep ZEEQ is listening for and monitoring your snoring, using its gyroscope it is monitoring and analyzing your sleep stage. Using that information (along with the optional REM-Fit Active integration) the ZEEQ app will provide you with a SleepScore as well as a MotionScore and a SnoreScore. How long does the battery last?

Can I flip or fold the pillow?
ZEEQ was designed to be used like a normal pillow. You can flip ZEEQ over, hug ZEEQ, squeeze ZEEQ and even ‘fluff’ ZEEQ. ZEEQ as also designed so it can be folded, but we don’t necessarily recommend it. Last updated: Tue, Jul 12 2016 11:32 am EDT
Is it washable?

Can I use it while charging?

Do I need to connect it to my phone every night?

What phones does it work with?

Where does the data go?

Does this need a constant connection to my phone to work? I like to put my phone in power save mode at night.
The only time ZEEQ communicates with your phone is when you first ‘Start Sleep’ at bedtime and then again when you ‘Stop Sleep’ when you wake up. The alarm info and settings are sent to ZEEQ when you ‘Start Sleep’ and after that you can put your phone in low power mode or even turn it off. You won’t need it back on until you wake up. The only exception to this is if you are streaming music to ZEEQ to fall asleep. You will need your phone on to send the music to ZEEQ, but once your sleep timer goes off the connection is terminated and your phone can be turned off. Last updated: Mon, Jul 18 2016 10:26 am EDT
Can my pillow connect to a tablet instead of a phone?
Yes, you can technically connect using a tablet. The app is designed to work on iPhone and Android phones as of now. It isn’t fully optimized for tablets, but should work. Are the pillow’s filling material and electronics safe to sleep on?
ZEEQ’s filling is a polyurethane visco blended foam. All the filling material and electronic components are being tested by SGS, the world’s leading inspection, verification, testing, and certification company. They are evaluating the electronic components for heat and fire safety. They are also confirming that there are no heavy metals inside, and no harmful odors, chemicals, or any other substances, so that ZEEQ is safe for everyone to sleep on! BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
